ANNOUNCEMENTS
- We will be receiving new members on Sunday, February 26. If you are interested in uniting with this congregation, please contact Pastor Kirk.
- This year the UMW Day of Prayer & Self Denial program will be held at Hayesville First. The regular Hope Circle meeting will not be held on Thursday, Feb. 9. Instead we will meet on Wednesday, February 15 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel. Julia Buckner from the Hinton Center will be the guest speaker.
- Trinity Soup Kitchen Sunday is fast approaching and we will need a few items: Soup, sandwich meat, big jars of peanut butter and jelly. We will also need some sandwich makers on February 11th in the Gathering Place for our Sandwich Making Extravaganza!!!! If you have any questions contact Myra at HFUMC.
- During the season of Lent (Ash Wednesday - Easter) we will have a morning service of prayer every Wednesday at 8am at the Filling Station. This service will draw from several Christian traditions and is a great way to start your day and provide you with a mid-week connection. If you are looking for an opportunity to develop a spiritual discipline during Lent this is your opportunity. The Filling Station is located on the corner of Hwy 69 and Cline McClure Rd. Just south of Hayesville Firestone. Morning prayer begins on February 22.
