If you have not been able to be a part of the activities planned by the Adult and Family Ministries Team now would be a great time to mark your calendars for upcoming events. Plan to join us in the activities. Bring a friend. All are open to anyone who likes to have fun. It is a great way to get to know others in the church. It is also a great way to introduce your friends to the varied ministries here at HFUMC.
Adult and Family Ministry Team has plans underway for fun and fellowship. The Milk & Honey Bunches (5 so far) are meeting for food, conversation, sharing ideas, and support. There is room for you, too. Let Marilee Powell know you are interested. (828)389-6525.
Mark your calendars for a Spring Fling in the middle of May with a horseshoe tournament. There will be conventional horseshoes and the wild and unpredictable version of horseshoes, Red Neck Horseshoes. More information in upcoming newsletters. Again, this will be family fun and another opportunity for bragging rights!
Also, look for information about an HFUMC outing to Asheville to take in a minor league baseball game. The AshevilleTourists, part of the Rockies organization, play an excellent brand of the game of summer.
